Growing up, I always wanted to be a zookeeper. So I guess you could say I’ve ended up in a similar field — it certainly feels like feeding time at the zoo in here some days! But the kids are great. I get to know all the little
characters, and every day is fun and full of smiles and laughter. It gives me the chance to do something for my community too — working with local people and being part of the council. I enjoy helping to make the school day
better. Our team all work hard to make sure we stick to the highest standards and it really matters to us that we deliver a good service.
It’s great because as I work school hours, and it’s close to home, I have the flexibility to have a job and still have time to look after my own kids — and two guinea pigs as well. ELC
has a great reputation round here, and I’ve felt welcome since day one. The people I work with are friendly and helpful, and we really are a team.
